Our office
'Kingsclere' is reputedly the oldest apartment building in Sydney. It is now located in Elizabeth Bay, but it hasn't always been there - the area has been described as Point Campbell, Henrietta Town, Macleay Heights, Darlinghurst, Darlinghurst Heights and Potts Point. Built in 1913 the architects were Messrs Halligan Wilton of George Street.

Former owners of the building include the Albert family - authors of the Boomerang Song Book and music publishers since the 1920's. Doug Laing Real Estate handled the sale of the building in 1994 for $4.1 million. Developers converted it to 17 apartments sold with Strata approval by Doug Laing in 1995. Today Apartment One is the head office of Laing Real Estate; the company is owned by Vicki Laing
