Pinkerton Palm Hamlyn & Steen Pty Ltd have been operating in Naracoorte since 1988 as private livestock agents and 2005 as real estate agents.

We pride ourselves on the professional service in which we offer our extensive client base in marketing their livestock and property.

We currently have resident agents in Penola and Kingston.

Agents working out of Millicent trade under the name of Chay & Merrett Pty Ltd.

Agents who trade under the name Spence Dix & Co work out of Keith, Bordertown, Tintinara, Meningie, Lower North.



With the healthy Naracoorte Livestock Exchange having full support of South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales buyers, together with extensive on-hooks, on property and export livestock sales, the company offers many years of expertise in marketing.

Pinkerton Palm Hamlyn & Steen Pty Ltd, Chay & Merrett and Spence Dix & Co. are members of the rma network (Rural Marketing Agents) which has over 90 member private agencies offering a further networking tool and source of marketing contacts and Australian Livestock & Property Agents Association Ltd (ALPA) which is a national organisation providing continuing representation and information to members on industry issues.

In October 2005, our company made a further expansion into Real Estate Sales Consulting and Property Management.

Due to our geographical location being very close to the South Australian / Victorian border we have real estate sales people who are licensed to operate in both states.

Two new companies have been formed for our real estate, being Pinkerton Palm Hamlyn & Steen Real Estate Pty Ltd (licensed in South Australia) and Palm & Steen Pty Ltd (licensed in Victoria).
